Certainly.

This is a Dell Inspiron 1525 supplied with Ubuntu Linux preloaded (V7 or 
8, I don't remember, sorry). I have allowed the computer to keep itself 
up-to-date and know that it is running at least U8.04. I am using Gnome 
2.22.1 as the front end. It has NO other operating systems on it.
