Actually there is Apache apps for Windows. As the matter of fact, there is Apache, MySQL and PHP for Windows which I'm not exactly sure what purpose of such application created for Windows that no Linux can displace (Frontpage Extension? Are you kidding? You use Frontpage to design PHP web?).

Can I continue your list?

19. Linux ability to run and maintain the exact service I wanted. Can you shut SMB service in Windows without using firewall or interrupting any other service in firewall?

20. Firewall is generally not needed in Linux. Why would I want to protect port TCP/137 and TCP/139 with firewall when there is no Samba service running? Why would I want to block ICMP/ping echo when I only connected to LAN?

21. Why would I need Office Suite just to open a .xls file? I don't even need OpenOffice, I want Gnumeric instead since it is smaller to install and lighter to run.

22. I was once frustrated by only tried to remotely manage email in a Windows server using PCAnywhere. I had 256Kbps connection but via VSAT, a satellite communication. Latencies made mouse movement so jerky that a simple task could take 3 minute to begin. And that was only require 4-5 mouse clicks. Now I could sit on couch in my home, watching MTV, sipping cold drinks, typing command via SSH in my Blackberry, using only 56-64Kbps of GPRS. What a deal.
