American Telgraph & Telephone, who were bought by SBC. SBC decided to
keep the AT&T name for name recognition. Your 2Wire may be set
192.168.0.1 if: 1) it is an older model, or 2) perhaps if you've set it
to bridge mode. Regarding:

Yes, DHCP works fine, wireless static IP's do not. That is why I
switched to wicd on my laptop.
