Get Nvidia gamma/color settings to stick?

As far as I know some troubles are resolved with 8.10, although I do not 
use nvidia-settings, but dispwin from the argyll color calibration 
repository, as I have a badly behaving monitor (gray=>pink)
I have created a ICC-profile, and that has to be loaded to the videocard 
after login, and this is automated with 'sessions'.
now, I have a pink login screen and after that the colors will get 
normal. and stay normal after a screensaver.
BTW the same behaviour exist in Windows, at boot the colors are wrong, 
and then a program has to push the icc profile in.
