Alternative to MS Exchange

I've used Zimbra, which is a very popular system that does everything
Exchange does and more. There's a web-based client to do everything you just
mentioned, and you can download software clients to do the same if you don't
like the feel of web-based apps.

Zimbra is, of course, free and open source; and you can even buy support
from them. Check them out....
