Gmail or Thunderbird problem?

If you were using POP before, it's entirely possible a message got hung
up in the POP queue. And with POP the messages are sent FIFO so the
first one to hang stops up the drain, so to speak.
So yeah, I can see that. I've seen that dozens of times with POP servers
over the years.
