Well, not quite.

"When I toddle off back home, and fire the laptop up, both 8.10 and

My AP hat home is encrypted, broadcasting on channel 6.
Both OS'es see the router perfectly
Both OS'es authenticate cleanly.

Back at the B&B Linux saw the router but wouln't authernticate even
with the correct password. Vista on the other hand, denied all
knowledge of the router being there.

As soon as the B&B router came off Ch 13 BOTH OS'es could then see it
and BOTH could then connect.
