OK, but a fan is cheaper than a MB... and by the sound of it, if you can
move the heatsink it's not seated properly to do it's job. At least get
a fan & direct it towards the chips & then put your side cover back on
so that the heat can be properly drawn out of the case by the exhaust fan.
