Can't pin down DVD no mount problem

I seems to me that the DVD itself has some issues not the hardware or
software. Had you tried multiple DVDs or are you struggling with a
single one? Also is it a dual layer DVD which you are trying? It
should be compatible with you drive first.

Try a new DVD/CD if you can, possibly after trying to run it on
someone else computer to make sure that it is fine.
