UUIDs on drives

Well, as someone already pinted out, good passwords protects (if they
do) against unhaothorized access using the system. They can not prevent
physical access (as in remving your hard drive, then installing it on
another computer and mounting your partitions in a way they can be
read). If your partition is not encrypted, you are done.

Of course, the decision upon using an encrypted filesystem will depends
on how like you find this kind of events, and how you think it will
affect you if it does.
