Thanks Gary, I'll keek you reference and read it. I
did finally get to boot ok, but haven't rebooted yet,
by doing a recovery mode boot and using xfix. Yeah, it
finally dawned on me. Also, reinstalled new envy
Nvidia driver and wonder how it got uninstalled as it
once was. Maybe your reference will answer that.
I also wish some knowledgeable person could clarify if
you can use Hardware Driver Management and/or NVIDIA X
server settings, in both kde and gnome menus, with the
Nvidia new envy driver. Maybe your reference will also
answer this.
