I wonder if this is similar to the locales problem i'm having. Twice the
upgrade has hung at the ponit of installing locales, and doesn't seem to
finish. The first time I manually killed the process, and it asked to
re-configure the package, so I allowed it. But it is hung again (for 2 hours
now).
