Alright, to try and make some sense of it all.
1. Ubuntu installed. Maybe beside, maybe on top of Windows XP.
2. OP can't see Windows XP entry in grub menu.
3. OP wants to get to windows to re-install Ubuntu.(???) Methinks a Wubi
install previously?
4. Majority of responders wish to a) Find out if windows is on the
system somewhere and b) if so get an entry into grub so the OP can have
both boot options. or c) if not so, inform the OP windows XP is gone
baby gone.
Make sense?
