samba problems

Sorry, my bad... Ok then, if the username and password in the Windows 
box are the same in the Ubutnu box (and you have to do a "smbpasswd -e 
user" and "smbpasswd -a user" to enable the linux user in the samba 
environment) and the share is browseable, you should be able to access 
it. You could try something to see if you could bypass that access 
denied warning... try to map the share in the windows pc and set that up 
to use the correct credentials
