The thought has crossed my mind. There are multiple similarities in
language, esp. turn-of-phrase and word choice.

A brief bit of google-fu reveals real-world identities and pictures for
Mr. Montague and Mr. Larsen, but not for Res... however a traceroute
shows his mail is originating in Oz. Conclusion: Not the same, just
like-minded, perhaps.
