You want to save it, the file name should hopefully end with .iso.

You want to write the file to a CD as an ISO image, your CD writing
software should have an option for doing this.  You then boot from the
CD you have written and it installs Ubuntu.

There are other ways to go about this but I think the above is the
most straightforward.
