Nvidia driver problem after Gutsy => Hardy upgrade

OK, I fixed it. In 
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-nv/+bug/173418 
one user also points out they commented out some lines in modules.alias 
for some other reason. After doing some research into this file, it 
turned out the nvidia driver was blacklisted, because it wasn't enabled 
in the restricted drivers configuration.
Commenting out the relevant line in /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-restricted 
fixed the issue.
