I know you're well past this by now and up and running with the server
install, but I just wanted to mention, for the record, that I /think/
you can get a terminal from the installer with the traditional virtual
consoles: ctrl+alt+<F1,F2,...Fn>.
>From there you should be able to run a partitioning tool manually (if,
for some reason, the installer's partitioning tool is insufficient).
However, if you rework the partions outside of the installer, make
sure you back up and let it redetect the new partitions. You'll may
still have to tell it where to mount your partitions, though.
