There are allready alphas out for 8.10? Dont they have 8.06 to think about too?

I am also checking 8.10 under VMware and tested sudo both under Bridged
and NAT networking, and it works OK for me.

But as I said, if you can't make sudo work under 8.04, give 7.10 a try.
