| Sorry, I can't help then. I have little clue about WEP technology and
| have never heard or read about what you describe. Since I never came
| across this issue before, I had no reason to learn about it. I hope
| someone else with more knowledge can chime in.

theres really no need to get involved in editing any kind of conf file,
if you dont have network selector applet (netapplet) on your taskbar,
put it there. Youll have an "x" at first click it. that will show what
interfaces you have available eth, ath, etc, and also what ssid's are
in the area. click which one you want, and enter the password. roam
all you want. good luck.
