Good plan :) at least until they catch up.
Don't forget to add Option "TexturedVideo" "on" in
the device section xorg.conf or video performance is terrible.
Other than that everything else worked out of the box in
Hardy, and with a little effort for Gutsy (manually installing
a kernel).
