please helo ubuntu acer aspire

please help.i have laptop acer aspire 7720g and ui download ubuntu linux..i will have problems..ubuntu is supported by acer aspire 7720g..i download the ubuntu version-7.10..IS CORRECT..OR I HAVE PROBLEMS..PLEASE HELP ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
