Did it.  Just came home with two new sticks of Kingstons 512 ram.  Since my computer had only one 
stick of 512 in it, I put only one back in for now.

However......      <grimace>      you should see the issies.  When I boot to the Live CD, And I hit 
Install (first on the menu), it gets started and then this (exactly as seen on screen):
