You know something, I don't think anyone could have said that better. This is why the world is on a
skateboard to Hell.... Parents who don't love their kids enough to make them mind, or they're
scared of the authorities. Here in Arkansas, we CAN make them mind and even whoop 'em if needed.
I once worked in a State Prison and I did a little survey. One Question: "If you could pinpoint
one thing that was the prime cause that you are in prison today, what would that one thing be?"
The answers varied somwhat but the core of their answers were the same. Their parents didn't care
where or with whom they were, didn't care what they were doing, wasn't interested in what time of
day they it was.
In other words, like you said, Paul, the parents did not teach these kids responsibility and hold
them accountable for their actions.
That boils down to young adults (and a few older ones) who believe they can do anything they want
and who is going to stop them.
I am a minister and even had kids challenge me and my leadership.... One boy asked "Who do you
think are to [tell me this]." And "Who gave YOU the right to [tell me what to do]."
Yes indeed, this is a corrupt and selfish generation and the parents are the blame!!
