Not displaying logo during startup/shutdown

hi Nils

normaly i your posts are really helpful and a good read. ;)

but:

is misleading and imho wrong.
This 'vga'-thingy is for broken displaydrivers?

If you remove the 'quiet' from the kernel command line you'll get a shouting
bootup process.  ;)
Leave that imho, it will give you enough debug messages.
