I agree.

This thread, and every other top/bottom-post-argument thread that I have
ever been amused by, has never produced a reason, other than `I'm more
comfortable with it,' for top posting.  I've never noticed anyone with
the nerve to write, `Bottom posting is illogical ... contrary to
dialogic pattern, and therefore, I top post, because it's logical and
mimetic.'

I'm not a gambler, but I have always been sure that if email clients
placed the cursor at the bottom of the field _by default_ then we
wouldn't see top/bottom-post-argument threads.
