I belong to several lists and some use top posting, some use bottom posting, and some don't seem to 
care.

However, I try to be congenial and use the preferred posting for that particular list.  Here I do 
bottom posting.  Others top.

I use Thunderbird eMail client.  With Thunderbird, I can set each of my eMail addresses for top or 
bottom.  I set this one for the bottom so it's there automatically when "replying".

I personally believe that I should keep peace whenever possible.  Here?  I bottom post for the sake 
of keeping peace.

Actually, I used to top post only....   But now I'm getting to like bottom posting MAINLY because I 
like having the previous post just above so I can refer to it if necessary.  If I was top posting, I 
wouldn't have that.
