Read/write NTFS from Ubuntu

So far I'm able to do it right out of the box since I have started using 
Ubuntu 7.10.  I have both my WinXP Thunderbird and Ubuntu Thunderbird 
look at the same folders on an NTFS partition.  This way I don't have to 
download my email twice, or have problems if I wish to play with my 
Linux partition.
