Unable to run live 7.1

I downloaded and burnt 7.1 live, but it wouldn't load on my computer
(details below). The previous version did run. I verified the disk and
all was well. Then I ordered a disk from Ubuntu. Same thing. It's
something to do with my computer. On previous machines I never had
problems installing Linux. I shall try 8 when it is released, but
perhaps someone could help me in the meantime. If my hardware
configuration is anti-Linux, perhaps I can change something.

Thanks in advance, Rick
