Can't install vmware-tools on Ubuntu 8.04 beta

Hi all,

I tried to install vmware-tools on Hardy running on VMware server. However,
when it tries to compile there was an error. The error messeage shows that

include/linux/types.h:40: error: conflicting types for 'uintptr_t'
/tmp/vmware_config3/vmhgfs-only/vm_basic_types.h:161: error: previous
declaration of 'uinptr_t' was here

What's wrong with this??
