Need help getting install to work

LOL.  I'll note though that I _have_ successfully installed from a CD with
errors - the likelihood of success depends upon where the error is, and
whether your particular install will ever need that part of the CD.  If
some particular package is corrupted, there's a good possibility that the
install can continue.  However, in this case, clearly it can't.
