Colour map flashing nvidia

Hi

I have just upgraded to Gutsy-beta and installed the glx-new drivers.

Screen resolution is available at 1600x1200 but I have hopless colour 
map flashing.

Does anyone know a fix for this, its obviously down to nvidia's driver 
as I tried it on 7.04 with similar results.
