j-pilot and file transfer

There are a couple of features shown in the j-pilot help file that are 
not apparent in the version available in the repos --  0.99.9.2, I believe.

Do I have to compile the source code to get them, or am I just missing 
something?

I'm most interested in being able to transfer files between the PC and 
the PDA.
