Computer won't restart if turn off!

OK, I deleted and escaped and I am back on root (hd0, 0)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.17.12- generic root=/dev/hda1 ro quiet splas->
initrd /boot/initrd.img-2.6.17-12-generic
quiet
savedefault
boot
I pushed e on the kernel line on now I have a screen with the same thing at
the top and intead of root, I have quiet splash written. I wrote space
acpi=off noapic and do I press enter or just esc?
