Computer won't restart if turn off!

Hi. Tried it myself just to make sure.

When the boot menu is counting down press escape.
Press e
Use the arrow key to select the line that starts 'kernel'
Press e
After the 'ro quiet splash' press space and type 'acpi=off noapic'
Press b
