Hi,

I tried to set my network interface static. but whenever machine reboots it
automatically goes into dhcp.

the following lines are the content of my /etc/network/interfaces file

auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

#primary network interface
allow-hotplug eth0
iface eth) inet static
address 192.168.11.12
netmask 255.255.255.0
network 192.168.11.0
broadcast 192.168.11.255
gateway 192.168.11.1

could any one of you help me how to prevent it to go into dhcp setup.
