2nd attempt to get sound for a countdown timer.

I previously posted a request about getting sound for a web based
countdown timer but probably didn't describe the problem clearly.

The timer is web based and can be accessed immediately by clicking :

             http://timberfrog.com./countdown

The timer does not actually install but works directly off the web. It
offers a variety
of sounds that will sound off repeatedly until you stop it when the
countdown reaches zero. The countdown
period can be set by steps of hours, minutes, and seconds

I've tried it on Windows XP and it works perfectly, counting down and
producing the selected
sound when it reaches zero. The countdown works perfectly in UBUNTU
but there is no
sound when the count reaches zero and there no test sound either.

I think the problem lies with some missing file that controls the sound
in ubuntu but I have
no idea what it is. I can't say for sure but I believe that the sound
is provided on the web along with the countdown action but my UBUNTU
lacks some critical files to make it audible.

In my previous posting, I asked that it be tested by the reader to see
if their timer produces sound and some readers did get sound.

Could you please try the timer and see if you get sound, both the test
signal and when the countdown reaches zero.
Just click:

          http://timberfrog.com./countdown

and run it through its paces. Remember, this doesn't install
anything---it runs directly off the web.

I'd appreciate getting some help in getting sound for this timer in
UBUNTU. Although it works fine for me in Windows XP, I'm trying to do
most of my work in UBUNTU.

I realize that there are other fine timers available for UBUNTU but they
require installation and I'm trying to avoid that
