Samba - Chatagnier's revenge

Some of you may remember the "Long Time Samba No Work-Need Expert..."
thread from Leonard Chatagnier.

Well... Just wanted to let Leonard & the list know that I experience the
same problem with one of my machines today. 9 hours later all is working
again.

First I couldn't browse the smb shares, then no other machine could
authenticate. Seems that I'd also installed NFS & once I removed that, I
could browse samba shares again. Still having some problems with the
authentication portion, but for the time being & given that its a share
a a closed network, I simply deleted the share from the smb.conf file
and re-activated via Nautilus.

All the best Leonard & from this point on, every time I have Samba
problems I'll dubbed them "Chatagnier's Revenge" :-)
