Ubuntu, Wine, and viruses

well i read somewhere that wine doesnt execute the viruses completely. 
ya sure you can install them and may be able to run them, but they 
wouldnt be harming your linux system like they would winblows.

i wouldnt be that worried about it, but i would recommend removing them 
anyways because they are viruses
