Sorry if my impression was mistaken.. I haven't tested to confirm yet 
(and probably won't).  Can you tell me, do you get mail (other than your 
inbox) delivered to your folders outside of TBird?  And if so, does the 
Unread mail count go up while Tbird is open even if you aren't in that 
folder?
