How to reboot from start scripts?

No, this don't work, either.  The boot continues, until login-prompt
appears.  BTW: X11 is not even started this early in the boot phase.

Maybe we are talking about different thigs.  Just to clarify:  I am
talking about reboot from the scripts that are placed in /etc/rcS.d.
