playing video problem

hi every body,
i have a problem with playing my movies on movie player , as the picture of the movie is very bad only i see 3 colours (red,blue and green) . so i downloaded the codecs in the add/remove programs, but nothing happend,

plzzz tell me what can i do , thanks.
