No, I think that blacklist is _vital_.  You can try without it, but iirc the
problem is that, if not blacklisted, visor gets loaded before the usb
module that invokes it (and visor can't explicitly depend on the usb
module, because it isn't necessarily connected via USB).  Blacklisting
visor should get the modules installed in the right order.
