Installing Yank from source

Yeah, that's what I would have suggested too, install the deb from
feisty. In the packages search result, just click the link for your
architecture, e.g., "i386":
http://packages.ubuntu.com/cgi-bin/download.pl?arch=i386&file=pool%
2Funiverse%2Fy%2Fyank%
2Fyank_0.2.1-7.3_i386.deb&md5sum=d325000f22bd7b8144666c6c9a9d7c60&arch=i386&type=main
If you doubleclick the downloaded deb, it will run gdebi, which will in
turn install the needed dependencies from the feisty repo, as it should.
