I need a hierarchic list manager, that has checkmarks. Similar to
ListPro (http://www.iliumsoft.com/site/lp/listpro.htm) for the Window
Mobile OS, which is what I am replacing. I'm not even certain that
Yank fits, but I need to try it. Tomboy certainly does not.

Any suggestions?

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
