I tried to install vmware-server and was given the error message that a
part of vmware remained and must be remove before it could be installed.
Running dpkg --purge vmware produced an error message that nothing could
be found. I tried running sudo vmware-uninstall.pl and bash said it
could not be found. I appear to be stuck here.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Jim
