Thanks Peter for your trouble. Yes, it does work and my mail was
downloaded to Mutt. FYI, I also installed fetchyahoo and tried it but
the Feisty version is buggy and gave a bunch of errors, connected but
failed download. One of the messages suggested upgrading to the latest
version at SF, so did and after having to copy the executable to
/usr/bin it worked great. How do you run a Perl executable,
#!/usr/bin/perl -w, (at the top of the file) from the extracted/install
directory. The executable bits were active for all. I tried just the
file name then "./fetchyahoo" with no errors just the prompt returning.
Finally just had to copy it to /usr/bin before --version gave the
right ver #. Still don't think all the documentation got installed.
Anyway maybe fetchyahoo will be of help for the yahoo users, hope so.
Also, not able to download mail to mutt but can't send/reply/forward
yet. Will look at Postfix next after setting up Muttrc. Thanks again
