Actually, I'm pretty sure that any smtp server you can install from the
Ubuntu repos aliases "sendmail" to that package's own version.  It's pretty
well standard, specifically _because_ MUAs like Mutt have this odd concept
that they shouldn't speak SMTP protocol.
