Amarok/xine driver problems

If it's not a codecs problem, try deleting the database for amarok.  I
used to get this problem before.  It's in 
~/.kde/share/apps/amarok
delete everything that has the name collection.db (could be a couple of
journal files there too).  Then rescan your collection.
