Postfix, Mutt And No Root Mail?

Thanks, did that in response to OP's reply and I now
have the echo email that you showed me but mutt still
has nothing in it; not root mail nor the echo email.
It's a rather sticky issue isn't it.  Still some
progress made and thanks to all for the help.
